Depot Operator
As a depot operator you work at the terminal, which is connected to 2 filling lines that are used for loading and unloading diesel and petrol through a jetty on the site. You check, register, perform analysis’ and ensure the health and safety during the performance of your work.
Job description
As a depot operator you guide the drivers on site to the right location and you support with the connection and operation of installations (pumps / valves).
You take samples for analysis and check during the loading if everything goes according to the set guidelines.
You inspect the complete firefighting equipment, hydrants, water pressure and condition of the valves.
Reports on a weekly basis on the condition of firefighting equipment.
Daily checking for possible leaks in the tank park and timely and complete registration of incidents.
Signs off on work permits and ensure that contractors adhere to our HSSE policy, Depot rules and regulations.
Daily visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment or lubrication.
Assists in the calibration of meters.
Assists in the execution of routine preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Records operation and maintenance actions taken during shift in Ultimo.
Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Complies with all health and safety policies, procedures, practices and regulations.
Is part of the Firefighting team.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
